Open Doors’ greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Sanctification has continued to seem an impossible demand by most believers, and for this reason, many have been held hostage by a life of sin.
Today, by redemption, sin has lost its dominion over the redeemed, and now, every child of God has the right to live a sanctified life if he so desires Rom. 6;14-16
Christ also said ' For their sake, I sanctified myself Jhn. 17:19
We are also required to sanctify ourselves for heaven's sake 1Jhn. 3:1-3/ Heb. 12:2
We can purge ourselves to become vessels of honour in His house 2Tim. 2:19-21
Remember, to be spiritually minded is life and peace Rom. 8:6
One is either spiritual or carnal; no one can be neutral 1Cor. 3:1-3
For example, God will not ask us to be what He has not engraced us to be because His commandments are not grievous, If God said 'Be holy as I am holy,' it means we can be holy if we choose to 1Pet.1:15-16 /1Jhn. 5:3
Interestingly, sanctification is not a gift but a choice, a choice with responsibility because Christ has condemned sin in the flesh and terminated the reign of sin at the cross Col. 2:11-15 Luk. 6:46-49/ Rom. 8:1-5/
However, we must recognize that sin is rooted in our thought life Mak. 7:21-23
For instance, in the Garden of Eden, Eve saw that the fruit was good for food and pleasant to the eyes, a fruit to make one wise. She took of the fruit and ate it Gen. 3:6
Note that all that led to the fall of man was processed in the mind Jms. 1:13-15
This fall sent man out of the garden of Eden to the wilderness of struggles Gen. 3:13-24
We must mind our thoughts because that is where our lifestyle is determined Pro. 4:20-23 Satan haven lost all his power to Christ after the resurrection, he is left with only subtilty, wiles, and deception 2Cor. 11:3 /2Cor. 2:11/ Rev. 12:7-9/
The following examples of patriarchs validate the mystery of godliness
We saw how Enoch had a quality walk with God that culminated in his supernatural translation with a testimony that he pleased God, Gen. 5:24/ Heb. 11:4-5
Joseph simply chose the fear of God as a lifestyle and was enthroned in the land of Egypt Gen. 39:9/ Gen. 42:18
Daniel only purposed not to defile himself, and he lived a sanctified life all the way through Dan. 1:8/ Dan. 6:1-4
Amazingly, the virtue of sanctification secures a glorious adventure here on the earth and eternity with Christ at the end of time 1Tim. 4:7-8
Heaven's verdict on the redeemed is 'sin shall not have dominion over you Rom. 6:14 This is what makes sanctification a cheap reality because sin has been legally disarmed Luk. 11:21-22/ 1Jhn. 3:7-8
We now have what it takes to live a sanctified life if only we choose to 1Jhn. 3:1-3 In the light of the above, the Prophetic focus for the month of April 2026 is:
SANCTIFIED TO BE GLORIFIED 2Tim. 2:19-21
